Global Carrier Billing Summit has consistently connected all the key industry stakeholders in the carrier billing ecosystem, including mobile carriers, aggregators, content providers and digital merchants to share new ideas and build new partnerships.
In 2023 the summit is back in its new iteration "GCB and Mobile Payments Summit", which will analyse the whole mobile payments universe to predict the future of different payment methods, while analysing emerging solutions and monetisation strategies.
Heading the P&L Financial & Enabling Services at Telefonica Germany, Martin Schurig, together with his team, is enabling third parties to do business with the customer base of Germany’s largest mobile operator. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes A2P messaging products like SMS and RCS, carrier billing and app distribution services. In addition, he is taking care of financial services products, like Telefonica Germany’s device insurance program and is overseeing the development of electronic identity services.
Martin is with Telefonica Germany since 2005 and held various positions in product management and business development in recent years. He was mainly responsible for the set-up of the financial and enabling services business unit of Telefonica Germany and led various initiatives in that area.
